We have physician performed treatments like chemical peels, cosmetic surgery, Wellness and Weight Management but there are also treatments for the Skin Care Specialist or Esthetician. The Skin Care Specialist who has been trained by the Physician supports pre and post operative care of cosmetic surgery patients. For some patients, the non-surgical treatments like microdermabrasion, chemical peels, cold laser treatments and Synergie facials will get the patient the results he/she desires without surgery.These are the treatments that have grown the most in plastic surgery practices: for 2003: 25% for surgical procedures: 410% for non-surg treatments.
There are certain antioxidants (Supermins and grape seed) $25-30/month that help prepare the patient from the inside prior to and following surgery to stimulate circulation. Post-operatively antioxidants are instrumental in the healing process. Antioxidant care from the inside will improve and speed up results from non-surgical treatments like Facial and Body Synergie. These services are Performed by a Physician trained Skin Care Specialist. The Esthetician performs the service supervised by an M.D. This type of treatment will please the client because the finest equipment and products are used with the latest, proven skin care techniques.
Esthetician Introductory Treatment of microdermabrasion for Surface Exfoliation; Facial Synergie Treatment for Subcutaneous Tissue; ultrasound with Antioxidant Creams: Total Treatment Time: 20 minutes; Fee: $40.00 To help enhance the treatments there are over the counter cleansers, exfoliators and moisturizers to continue the cleanse, treat and protect process of skin care at home. We recommend a line of products called Cellex C that are very effective affordable and more active than over the counter products but either will work. Cellex C will speed up the exfoliation process more. Those products range in price from $10.00 for the cleanser to $24.00 for the moisturizer for over the counter products. Cellex C from $60-$100 but These will last 2-3 months for the average patient. When I do a facial treatment, I finish with a sun screen that has a bit of foundation color to protect the skin. A bit of eye shadow and lipstick so when leaving the patient feels finished and can return to work.
Esthetician Introductory Synergie Body Treatments: $35.00/area An area would be abdomen and front of thighs, back of thighs and buttocks; Time for treatment would be 15-20 minutes depending on areas needing treatment. We do have two technicians available who can do treatments in the evening or Saturday hours.
We can accommodate drop-ins for these short treatments. Light therapy for loss of range of motion in the hands, back, shoulders and other areas are $20/treatment and drop -ins can be accommodated. Only takes a few minutes for treatment.
